Verification that starts from the media itself.
Meyppi is an independent media delivery verification practice based in India. We take a campaign you have already paid for, go back to the published media, and establish what actually ran.
The company
Meyppi works with agencies and brands on podcast and digital audio campaigns across India. It is a small, independent practice by design: every audit is reviewed by the same people who stand behind the report. Company registration details are available on request.
Why this company exists
Audio advertising in India grew up fast. Budgets moved into podcasts and digital audio, insertion orders got longer, and the reporting stayed exactly where it was in 2015: a spreadsheet from the publisher, a summary from the agency, and a number everyone agrees to believe.
Most of the time that number is fine. But nobody involved is incentivised to check it, and the few people who might want to, a brand manager, an agency's client-lead, have no way to do it. The published episodes are out there in public RSS feeds. The creatives are sitting in the brand's own asset library. Everything needed to verify delivery already exists. It is just never brought together.
That is the whole job. Meyppi brings it together: your contracted creatives on one side, the published media on the other, and a fingerprinting pipeline in between that says, for every expected placement, whether it ran, which version ran, at what point in the episode, and for how long.
The name
Meyppi comes from the Tamil word mei, மெய்: truth, or more precisely, that which is real. If a report from this company says a placement ran for 24 of 30 contracted seconds, that statement has to survive being checked. It is backed by the file hashes, match offsets and raw evidence that ship with every audit, or it does not get made.
What actually happens in an audit
The pipeline is deliberately conventional. You send the master creative files, every version that was contracted, along with the placement plan: which publishers, which episodes, which dates. We collect the published media from RSS feeds and other permitted sources, or from recordings you already hold, and we record where each file came from.
Each creative and each episode is then fingerprinted. A fingerprint, in this context, is a compact mathematical description of what a piece of audio sounds like, robust to compression and background noise, computed the same way every time. Matching the creative's fingerprint against the episode's is what finds the ad: the same technique that lets a phone identify a song from a second of audio in a noisy room. Ours is tuned for one question only. Is this contracted 30-second cut present in this episode, completely, partially, or not at all?
The classification layer then does the forensic part. It measures how much of the creative's runtime the match actually covers, whether the beginning or end is missing, and which version of the creative the evidence points to when several versions exist. Every measurement becomes a field in the report. Nothing is reduced to a bare score.
What we will not claim
Some things an audit from us will never tell you, because no honest process could.
It is not legal proof. It is evidence, gathered and documented in a repeatable way, suitable for reconciling with a publisher or supporting a client conversation. Courts have their own standards and we do not pretend to meet them.
It cannot verify what it cannot observe. If an episode was never published anywhere we are permitted to access, that placement cannot be audited and is reported as out of scope; we do not compensate for missing media with cleverer algorithms, and we do not scrape sources we are not authorised to use.
And the service covers pre-produced audio creatives in podcast and digital audio. Dynamic ad insertion, host-read spots and video are real problems that deserve real solutions later. They are not quietly lumped into a vague "verified" tick.
Independence
Meyppi is not part of any agency, publisher, network or adtech vendor, and does not buy or sell media. No one behind Meyppi holds a role or stake in any agency, publisher or ad network. Meyppi's only revenue is audit fees paid by the party that commissions the audit.
If you want to know whether your last campaign ran as contracted, that conversation starts here.
